Things to do when you are feeling down and depressed

Never underestimate someone who tells you that I am depressed; going through difficult psychological pressures; I want to commit suicide I’m tired of my life!! Many formulas can tell you from a person and you underestimate them, but they may be a real indicator of a mental illness that deserves to stand and follow up and help yourself or a friend of yours or even your son or anyone close to you to overcome this bad feeling at any time you feel frustrated or someone close to you, it will be, you have two options
1- Keep doing what you’re doing
, or
2- Do something to try to pick yourself up
Sometimes the number 2 isn’t that easy. That’s why we’ve come up with 10 things you can do when you’re not feeling your best or stressed out to get that smile back on your face.
1. Stop being hard on yourself
We put a lot of pressure on ourselves. Although it pays to aspire to greatness, sometimes you need to sit back and think and acknowledge all the good things you are doing right now.
So when you’re feeling down, try this: Think about the things you’re grateful for. Focus on what you have…not what you don’t have.
Stop putting so much pressure on yourself. Be content with who you are in this moment. And remember, happiness is a choice.

2. Get up and move
One of the best ways to pick yourself up when you’re having a hard day is to get down and get some exercise.
For example, go outside and take a walk. Ride your bike around the block. Go to the gym. Don’t just stay in bed and feel sorry for yourself.
Get up, move, and overtake it.
3. Surround yourself with the ones you love
Family and friends can be the best medicine when you have a lot of stress in life. Even if you can’t see them in person, pick up the phone and call someone you love. Sometimes all you need is for a friend to listen and help you get some things off your chest.
4. Find a way to laugh
We take life too seriously sometimes. But, let’s get this straight: what you feel right now is a small moment among the thousands of moments you will experience in your life.
Know that sadness is temporary. Then choose for yourself to watch your favorite show, movie or video online.

5. Eat something healthy
Guess what most people eat when they’re feeling down? Yes, that’s right, I thought, fast food. Do this and eating healthy food will improve your health and overall mood, and your body will thank you.
Eat healthy foods like vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds. Eating a healthy snack can help you feel relaxed and fill your body with the right nutrients. This is the win.

The world is not depressed, it is nothing but a play, and a time will come for the end, so live it as it is and be optimistic about God and always be close to God in your prayers and supplications, you will find comfort and tranquility in everything

6. Take a deep breath
Focusing on your breathing may not seem like much, but it can make a big difference if you feel comfortable.
So spend a few minutes focusing on nothing but your breath. Take long, slow breaths and get rid of all negative thoughts on each exhale. Try the five breathing exercises for anxiety (mind anxiety and calm quickly).

7. Spend time with animals
Pets are therapeutic, and they are intelligent; They can sense when you are sad.
Even if you don’t have a dog, cat, or other pet, you probably have a friend who does. So try to spend time with some animals and watch the stress melt away.

8. Do something spontaneous and exciting
One of the best ways to free your mind of those annoying negative thoughts is to get out and do something completely automatic.
Take an impromptu road trip to go visit a friend you haven’t seen in a while. Visit your favorite store and deal with new clothes. Volunteer at a homeless shelter. Create some excitement in your life.
9. Read something inspirational
Words have the power to heal and pick you back up when you’re down. Go online and find inspirational quotes. Watch a speech from a famous and inspiring leader you admire. Or read a thoughtful or inspiring book.

10. Get some work done

Here’s an easy way to smooth out negative thoughts when you’re having a bad day: Do some work.

Whether it’s your job, doing housework, or working on a project you care about, getting work done will help you feel productive and free your mind.
